Position: Social Media + Business Assistant

Your Healthiest You is hiring a part-time social media and business assistant for our CEO, Robyn Youkilis. Robyn is a best selling author, health coach, influencer and mother. As Robyn’s assistant, your role is to support Robyn so she can show up fully for the business, her private clients, brand partnership commitments, speaking engagements, book and writing projects, and more while connecting with thousands of followers on Instagram daily.

You must love Instagram and excel at the platform. You know how to create and support the production of beautiful Instagram stories, feed posts and Instagram lives. You’ll be proactive about supporting Robyn in creating and sharing content here.

This role is perfect for you if you like to get sh*t done. You can carry projects from 0-10 every time and can thrive on a team as well as independently. You have experience working in a support role and know how to prioritize tasks. You need little supervision and know how to gracefully hold others accountable.

You will be Robyn’s right hand, making sure her tasks are handled. For example, if she is speaking at an event, you’ll be responsible for managing the logistics, making sure Robyn is prepared (from wardrobe selection to ordering her Uber), supporting during the event itself and documenting highlights on social media. If we have sponsors or partners for an event or retreat, you will be the point person. You will work side by side with Robyn in making sure her week is scheduled and cared for, both within the business and beyond.

IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL:

  • Manage “unboxing” of brand products for Instagram
  • Assisting in the delivery of sponsored and affiliate posts for Instagram and Robyn’s blog (start to finish)
  • Co-manage social media calendar with Robyn and team
  • Co-manage Robyn’s schedule + personal needs for the week
  • Tech support, including computer clean up, and regular photo organization and optimization on both Robyn’s phone and computer  
  • Execute set up of regular, topic focused Instagram stories and Instagram lives (planning when with Robyn; having proper tech set up; preparing talking points and any props, ingredients, or products; promoting on social before and after)
  • Manage personal and work related travel
  • Manage and assist at in person events such as book signings, retreats and meetups
  • Handle moderate amount of email correspondence
  • Administrative tasks and errands, including occasional personal requests (groceries, meal prep, a gift for a friend’s baby shower)
  • Create a system for reviewing gifted products with Robyn and our Social Media Manager
  • Sharing media features, blog posts and promotions on Instagram stories with proper swipe up link
  • Writing content for Instagram feed posts, as needed outside of Robyn’s organic shares and what our Copywriter creates from other content.
  • Loading drafted posts to Instagram, including filters, tags and hashtags
  • Basic graphic design skills for Instagram a plus (through Canva, WordSwag or other similar application)

  • Social media copywriting skills – you are an excellent writer including thoughtful, articulate, funny and grammatically correct
  • Good communication within a team environment- your focus for your work time, raising your hand appropriately and pro-actively with questions, and clearly sharing what you accomplished and status of pending items
  • Strong secretarial skills in the classic essence of this word
  • A strong eye for style and what vibes with Robyn’s brand and taste
  • Tech savvy and a willingness to adapt and learn new systems and processes quickly
  • Understand and enjoy the business of online marketing
  • YouTube / video skills is a plus
  • Good time management skills
  • Health coaching and/or marketing background ideal
  • Enjoy cooking and documenting recipes or new health trends

THIS POSITION IS NOT FOR YOU IF YOU:

  • Are not comfortable with change. As a rapidly growing company, we’re always making improvements and changes. In addition, Robyn’s schedule varies week to week with events and large periods of travel, so you must have flexibility within your work schedule as well.
  • Do not like taking a few extra minutes to add a high-touch feel to your emails and interactions. We strive for every interaction to feel personalized, empathetic, and supportive.
  • Want to do the same thing every day. Your job may look like one thing one day and something completely different the next.
  • Are not detail oriented. We need someone who takes the time to double check their work and pay attention to the details.
  • Your schedule is not flexible. Did we say that already?
