Cashew Maca Freezer Fudge Recipe

On dessert duty for July 4th? This recipe is simple, delicious, and even contains adaptogens – superfoods that help our bodies adapt to stress! With Fermented Maca from New Chapter these freezer fudge bites give an endurance and recovery boost for those long summer days (seriously Navy’s average bedtime has become 9pm with the sun setting so late!) Just don’t leave these babies in the sun or you’ll have fudge soup instead of bites. 🙂

Cashew Maca Freezer Fudge


  • 1/2 tsp New Chapter Fermented Maca booster powder

  • 3 tbsp tahini

  • ⅓ cup creamy cashew butter

  • ⅓ cup coconut oil, melted

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2-3 tbsp sweetener of choice (honey, coconut sugar, maple syrup)

  • Coconut flakes

  • Cacao nibs


  1. In a blender or small food processor, combine New Chapter Fermented Maca, tahini, cashew butter melted coconut oil, and blend until smooth.
  2. Add vanilla extract and sweetener if using to taste.
  3. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Pour mixture on paper and spread evenly (for a thicker fudge line loaf pan with parchment paper and pour in mixture. You also can use silicone candy mold or ice cube trays).
  5. Add coconut, cacao or any topping of your choice.
  6. Place in freezer to set for 20-25 minutes (can also leave overnight!).
  7. Remove from freezer and serve immediately. If serving at a party I recommend plating them then set the plate on top of an ice bath to keep them cold.
