Hanging in LA taught me this lesson…

Most of you know I’m a coast-hopper: I spend part of my time in NYC and part in LA. There are a ton of great perks that come along with this, but one thing I’ve learned is that if I slow down and pay attention, the universe packs a few pretty powerful lessons into the experience.

As I get ready for another trip out to the west side of the country, I’m reflecting on the last trip and what I learned.

And it can be summed up in one powerful word…

Connection.

What I learned the most in LA was connection: connecting with people who inspired me.

I connect to my body at my favorite “urban sweat lodge” at Shape House LA.
I connected to myself, my friends and my hubby running around the Silverlake reservoir.
I connected to nature by picking fresh citrus off of the neighboring fruit trees.

These connections refresh and rejuvenate me. They are life-sustaining.

And now, I want to connect more with all of you in these weekly newsletters.YOU are the Your Healthiest You community, and I do what I love because you give me the space to do so.

What do you want to hear more about? What do you want to hear less of? What recipes are you so ready to see? Let me know by taking just a few short minutes [I promise!] to fill out this YHY-ified survey.

Now, I want to know, how do you connect? Let me know in the comments below!
