I’ve got your morning jolt right here! [new video]

A couple of week’s ago I shared Laura Hames Franklin’s Superhuman Breakfast Challenge with you. I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing I felt each morning while implementing these breakfast changes. Today I’m excited to share something else that you can start your day with that will give you even more superhuman power…

My buddy Pedram at Well.org and I recently taped a video showing you my secret recipe for how to make superhuman power tea! This tea tastes great, give you a boost of energy (without the coffee jitters!), and feeds your brain – AND I make a big flub on camera (hey I’m human!). Take a look!

 

Super-Powered Tea

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 spoonfuls of yerba mate
  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric
  • ⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Shake of black pepper
  • As much cinnamon as you like 🙂
  • ½ teaspoon maca powder (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • Boiling water to fill pot

Directions:

Add all of your ingredients into a loose leaf pot tea maker. Mix ingredients in the basket with a spoon until well combined then add boiling water and allow to steep for five minutes. After your first time making it feel free to customize to your liking! This recipe wants you to make it your own.
