Why I’m not sending you Halloween treat recipes this year

Today I wanted to take a minute to check in with you… how are you feeling?

Fall is such a beautiful and fresh time of year but it also always feels like EVERYTHING is going on at once with kids going back to school, travel, birthdays, the start of holidays… it’s a lot.

Ultimately this has all resulted in one big bottom line for me – every week there’s another reason why I’m not eating the way I want to be.

From my mom’s chocolate peanut butter kiss cookies during the Jewish holidays, to my mandatory pink birthday treat cupcake, to too many homemade pineapple vodkas at my brother-in-law’s wedding, I’ve told myself more than once “I’ll get back to my Your Healthiest You basics after [insert event name here]” and yet it still hasn’t happened.

So I’m feeling a little off, but more than that, annoyed with myself because I know I can do and more importantly, feel better. That’s why I didn’t send you a roundup of cute, healthified Halloween treat recipes this year. Because I don’t need another excuse to have the treats, and I’m thinking that maybe you don’t need one either?

From speaking with my health coaching clients and connecting with you all over social media, it seems like you are feeling this way too.

So what’s the solution?

What straight-to-the-point and slightly sassy advice do I have for you {and for myself} this week?

You know what – I don’t *actually* have the answer right now, so my team and I are going to take a few days to think about this because there’s been something very special we’ve been wanting to do at Your Healthiest You, and with everything that’s been going on, now feels like it might be the perfect time for the big reveal.

Keep your eyes on your inbox for a very special invitation coming your way this Friday.

All my love,

PS. Check your email on Friday – you won’t want to miss this 🙂
