Is gluten-free bullsh*t?

Hey Rockstars!

So. If they’re selling gluten-free hot dog buns at the ballpark something must be up right?

In my latest episode of IIN-Depth for The Institute for Integrative Nutrition (if you missed the last one head here!) I’m investigating the truth about the growing gluten free lifestyle.

In just the past few years, being gluten-free has gone from a small group of followers to now being widely embraced by the mainstream culture.

But despite its popularity (and true life or death need), the question remains: is the gluten free diet beneficial for folks who don’t need to be gluten-free? Or is it just an unnecessary restriction that grew out of a weight loss fad?

With terms like celiac disease, gluten intolerance, and gluten sensitivity being thrown around left and right, it can be difficult to get to the bottom of this issue. In this video, we investigate the gluten debate, and what’s behind the 1.6 million Americans who follow a gluten-free diet.

Whether you’re sensitive to wheat or have full out celiac disease, I want to hear where you fall on the gluten spectrum. How does your body handle gluten? Do you think anybody can really stomach it? If you’ve gone off gluten have you noticed a difference? Share in the comments below!
