My Favorite Green Things

I don’t typically celebrate St. Patrick’s Day but I thought it would be a fun opportunity to share some of my favorite green drinks, foods, and products that help me look and feel my best this time of year!

  • I always loved the way matcha made me feel, but I never loved the taste. So I played around in the kitchen until I landed on my favorite version of it. Here’s my Magical Morning Matcha (plus this post includes all the amazing benefits).
  • Another 15 years strong favorite green drink is green juice, but NOT the kind that comes in plastic bottles. I’ve learned I really only enjoy it fresh. So I finally got a great juicer at home that I love, and make it with my girls. The combo we love most is celery, cucumber, fennel, apple or pear, kale or spinach, lemon, and ginger. It’s never too early to teach your littles about drinking their greens.
  • In colder months our bodies and digestive systems need warm foods so I lean into steaming and stewing vegetables and leafy greens like kale and Swiss chard. Don’t over think these green veggies, just saute with garlic, lemon and olive oil, or try my Healing Greens Soup recipe from my book.
  • Can’t forget about avocados! I’ll eat them anytime, anywhere, and even by themselves with a spoon with some sea salt and lemon. They’re especially yummy with some furikake seasoning added on top, you can get yours here
  • When I want my skin to look its best I love turning to the green queen, Tata Harper’s green beauty products! I use their Hydrating Floral Mist multiple times a day for a little glow up and I absolutely love how it leaves my skin feeling invigorated and fresh. They have so many amazing green products to choose from.

Happy St. Patty’s Day!

Xoo,

Robyn
