My Best Tip For Releasing Overwhelm

Whether it’s posting on IG about the newest workout I’m trying or sharing my favorite meal delivery services (check it out here), I want you to know what’s working for me because it might work for YOU! And one of my biggest go-to practices for releasing overwhelm, stress, and just life in general is Brain Balancing!

My Best Tip For Releasing Overwhelm

Brain Balancing is one of the best tools I use to come into my body and get present. It comes from a healing modality called “Body Talk” and I learned it as part of my Universal Health Principles practitioner training. It’s basically exactly what it sounds like, this practice balances the left (logical and linear thinking) and right (creative, intuitive) cortices of the brain to bring both sides into harmony. This allows the nervous system to enter into a parasympathetic (rest and digest) state and for you to move into your day with more ease and flow.

All it takes is placing one hand on the back of your skull and with the other hand alternating tapping gently over your head and heart. I demonstrate and talk you through it in this video post here. If this modality sounds interesting to you, in the first session of every month in the Guided Grounding Membership we do a workshop and October’s was on Brain Balancing!

I swear this little practice provides BIG results! Is your week already feeling nuts? Try this!
