With so much heaviness happening in the world right now, it’s been extra important for me to lean on my tools for staying centered, mind, body, and spirit, so that I can continue to show up for my family, my clients, and my community.
Today I’m sharing a few simple practices that have been most helpful for me during these times, including a live opportunity to gather in community and meditate together.
To take care of your MIND
Meditation is always a non-negotiable for me, and if you’ve followed me for a while, you know all about my signature Guided Grounding Meditations. These meditations are designed to help you connect to your heart, breath, and live life from a place of intention. When I’m spinning from the news or what someone shared on social media, I come back to this to reclaim my peace.
There is no better time than now to gather and meditate together, that is why I am holding a Community Guided Grounding Session on Friday, October 27th at 12PM ET.
Add the event to your calendar here or join on Friday using the Zoom link below.

For your BODY
One of the best ways I know how to take care of my body is through nourishing, grounding foods BUT, I have had zero mojo to cook lately. These are the times I lean on my Balanced Bites Meals for easy premade dinners that are also super healthy. You can use code ROBYN at checkout for 10% off your meal box and check out my blog post about them here.
And if you are feeling like cooking, here’s a favorite soup recipe of mine. Don’t let the fennel scare you, I promise the flavor is super subtle when cooked this way. I like to serve it with toasted sourdough and extra butter. So comforting.
And for your SPIRIT
Brain Balancing is a simple exercise that brings more balance to your energy and spirit. I love that you can do this anywhere and anytime and it only takes about a minute.
Follow along in this video to try it out.
Hope you found these suggestions supportive, feel free to forward this email along too. Looking forward to seeing you all on Friday for our Community Guided Grounding Session (there will be a reply sent on Monday if you can’t join live <3) I hope you’ll join us – you can add the event to your calendar here.
PS: If you’re looking for a great place to donate right now, some Israeli classmates of Dover’s have put together this initiative to directly support those most impacted by the events of October 7th. You can check them out and donate here. Thank you in advance <3
