My Meditation Practice Favorites

I’ve learned through 2020 and now into 2021, that I need meditation and grounding time to come back to center and remind myself to breathe. That’s why it’s a non-negotiable for me. It doesn’t have to be fancy, and it doesn’t have to be long, it just needs to be a few moments connecting to me and the peace within myself. But for the days when I have a little extra time, I wanted to share a few of my favorite things to use in my home meditation practice. Because the truth is that sometimes things are fun and we all could use some fun right now.

Meditation Practice Faves:

  • This padded floor chair is great for the days when my back feels like it needs a little extra support. It also folds flat for easy storage.

  • This cushion and mat set was definitely a splurge, but I just love how comfortable it is when I have more time to sit. It makes me happy just looking at it! You can use the code ROBYN for 10% off.

  • I found these gorgeous mala beads by Flora on my retreat in Guatemala and had one custom made. They help me to feel grounded and lately they’ve felt like my good luck charm. Use code WELCOME10 for 10% off.

  • Staying hydrated is always a challenge, so I like to keep my insulated tumbler from Your Joyologist close by. Plus, our bodies process A LOT during meditation and clean, filtered water absolutely helps.

  • Sometimes I like to pull a tarot card for inspirational guidance and The Fountain Tarot Card Deck is absolutely stunning. When I found this deck I felt like it chose me.

  • My favorite journal is a must! I’ve tried a lot of different ones over the years and I always come back to this one from Moleskine. I find it’s the perfect size and I like switching up the color for different “chapters” in my life.

That’s what I’m loving right now! You definitely don’t need any of these items to have a supportive and simple meditation practice but they help me for sure. And if you feel like you want some extra support in your life, I shared about a very special program I created last week – the Guided Grounding Group Experience (because I need it the most!). It’s a four-week journey to connect inwards and reconnect to your intuition.

Through twice-weekly live Guided Grounding meditations (+ access to the replays!), journaling prompts and a supportive community, the experience guides you to make space to show up for yourself, your family, your friends, and your community.

Access is super simple– the whole program lives on a private Instagram page where I will be supporting you along the way, answering all comments, and where community members can support one another as well. You also get access to all the recordings through June to return back to time and time again. And the best part? Come exactly as you are, whether you’re hanging solo in your apartment or cooking dinner for your kid, any version of you is completely welcome. We kick things off on February 16th — check it out here to join us!
